Some students may not be as proficient as their peers when entering Primary One – which is completely normal, as children usually develop at different paces. However, they may miss out on early phases in the classroom, where they are often brought out of class for separate English lessons. As such, it is definitely beneficial for K2 students to brush up on their English proficiency before they move on to Primary School. Our K2 English course aims to do that and more. Apart from going back to the basics of grammar and vocabulary, our students are taught to be smart readers and draw their own inferences from clues given in simple texts. They are also introduced to how context can change the meaning of different statements. At the end of the course, our K2 English students will be well equipped to venture into Primary One. Furthermore, they will hopefully also realise that reading, writing, and expressing themselves can be an enjoyable process. All in all, we ensure that our students will be at the top of their class when it comes to their English skills, boosting their performance and confidence when they begin the next phase of their education.
Our teachers strive to engage children in the world of numbers through strengthening their foundation at the start, and then gradually building up the momentum to expose them to mind-stretching problems and develop their critical thinking skills. The mental addition and subtraction ‘more than’, ‘less than’ concept and the major topics of P1 will be covered.
Our courses for Gifted Education Program (GEP) preparation is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the syllabus and question types that are required of them during the first and second rounds of the GEP test, as well as skills and knowledge comparable to those taught in higher levels of the primary school syllabus.
The GEP screening occurs every year, where Primary Three students take a series of tests to gauge their ability and stream them into the Gifted Education Program – touted by some as every parent’s goal. At nine years of age, most students may be acutely unprepared for the demanding tests, which can be very mentally strenuous. Furthermore, these two tests can determine where students will spend their upper primary years and possibly which secondary school they will go to. We believe that no child should be short-changed on what can be a potentially life-changing verdict, especially at so early on in their lives. As such, we do not require any placement tests for students to enrol in our GEP tuition classes. Each student will be coached and guided to prepare them for both rounds of the GEP tests. Our GEP preparation program includes GEP English, comprising reading comprehension, pattern recognition and vocabulary, and GEP Maths, covering symbolic representation, linguistic variants, problem-solving skills, mental sums, and more. Additionally, in line with our GEP preparation, students will be familiarized with the GEP English and GEP Maths examination format, making the actual screening tests a breeze for them. The enrichment does not just stop at the GEP tests – our classes will also equip students with the skills and knowledge required for higher-level upper primary syllabus, giving them a competitive edge over their peers. Gain a head start and be ahead of the times by enrolling in our Gifted Education Program classes as early as Primary One, where we can better pave the way for our students to prepare them for the “big year”. After the GEP tests, regardless of whether students choose to remain in the mainstream or go for the GEP curriculum, they will definitely see their newfound English, Maths and General Ability skills put to good use.
Round 1 – Screening Test in August
Round 2 – Selection Test in October
Do note that there is no placement test required prior to enrolment for GEP classes.

Our Secondary IP English programme includes a compressive syllabus that complements the unique requirements of the Integrated Programme (IP). Students will be exposed to higher-level text types and expressions. This allows them to gain confidence and self-discipline needed to make that transition to A-level standards in JC (Junior College), or to an IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma. In addition, students will be taught on formulating balanced opinions. They will be encouraged to explore different perspectives through narratives that discuss current affairs both local and beyond.
The extra exposure from our course allows students to breeze through their English examinations from Secondary 1-4. Focused on higher ability comprehension and expression, we encourage students to stretch themselves further than the topics covered in school for Secondary English. Whether our students choose to stay on the IP track or go for the IB program in their higher years, they will definitely put the skills they have learned to good use. Additionally, we hope to foster an interest in current events in our students. Through the course of our Secondary English and IP English classes, students will have ample opportunities to explore current affairs and formulate their own responses.
Our Secondary English for IB (International Baccalaureate) program stays true to the official IB syllabus, whether it is the IB Primary Years Programme or the Middle Years Programme. Emphasis is placed on inquiry and intellectual finesse—with students constantly being encouraged to connect classroom theories and discussions to real-world applications. Also essential to our course is the acquisition of higher-level grammar, vocabulary, and expression that will allow them to grow into articulate individuals who can think creatively and critically. These skills equip students with the social, intellectual, and academic skills needed when they enter universities both locally and overseas.
“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms; it is about understanding.” – William Paul Thurston
As with all our Math courses, students in our S1-4 IP Math tuition and IB Math courses are given an edge over their peers when it comes to approaching numerical, graphical and geometrical challenges. Besides being exposed to the essential methodologies, students are constantly encouraged to do their own detective work and to test out possible solutions. Wrong answers are never seen as final—rather, students are taught to examine their own mistakes and encouraged to learn and correct them.
Our Secondary Maths programs are tailored to instill an in-depth understanding of abstract problems involving numbers and diagrams in different contexts. Our teachers place a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding as much as hands-on practice—a habit so crucial in doing well in Math on any level. As the class progresses, students will also be taught to solve non-routine and higher-level mathematical questions. There will also be drilling of hot exam question/ topics, which allow students to familiarise with various solving methods and the key topics that might be tested in the O-level examination.
Lesson pace is tailored to the school syllabus and is catered to students taking O-Level or N-Level, Elementary Math (E-Math), or Advance Maths (A-Math).
A recurring problem among students is that they often run out of time to finish all the questions in their Secondary Maths papers. In our Maths programmes, we focus on teaching students the most efficient ways to solve every type of problem they will come across. The end goal is to familiarise our students enough with topic content and question formats so that they will be able to complete the papers well ahead of time. We pride ourselves in maintaining a fun and engaging classroom delivery that can encourage even those who are not mathematically inclined. The plentiful hands-on practice our students will get ensure that they know exactly how to tackle each problem even without any guidance. To top it off, our tutors summarise each lesson into handy notes that can be easily referred to and used as study guides. We are specialised in both E Maths and A Maths content for the ‘O’ Level and ‘N’ Level syllabus, allowing us to dedicate more time to our students based on their individual weak topics. The reinforcement of important concepts in Secondary Maths problems will sufficiently equip our students with the knowledge to solve any paper they come across.

Our JC General Paper Tuition prepares JC 1/2 students for the GCE A’ Level H1 General Paper Examinations. Every week, tutors will present students with a topic or a set of similar topics which they will analyse, discuss, and craft a suitable response for each question. Tutors will train on their writing skills, such that they are able to express their opinions articulately and offer a balanced perspective. Students will be taught to respond in different point of views, the ways to improve their sentence structures, and to avoid ‘slippery slopes’, all through our topic discussion and writing drills. At the end of the day, our students will be able to produce arguments which are fluent, sharp and logical.
Our H2 Biology Programme offers students a sound understanding of the basic and advanced concepts and terminology required for the exam. With carefully prepared notes and lessons, students will learn how to interpret diagrams and complex questions pertinent to a topic every week.
Chemical bonding, transition elements, hydroxy compounds….fear not! Our tutors are here to save the grade!
Our H2 JC Chemistry Programme prepares students for all components of the GCE A’ Level Chemistry paper. Students will go through the various topics based on the latest H2 Chemistry syllabus and get acquainted with the format and requirements for doing well. As many students struggle with Chemistry, our JC Chemistry tutors are more than aware of that. Hence, they have tailored a teaching methodology which students will find much simpler to understand.
Chemistry, especially at the JC level, can be a difficult subject for students. With the high levels of memory work and understanding required, students may find themselves losing interest in the subject especially if they do not know how it can be applied to real life. In our JC Chemistry classes, we use a teaching method that simplifies Chemistry theories and delivers each concept to students in a way that is easy to understand. Students will be introduced to real-life applications of the topics in their syllabus and realise that there is nothing to fear from ‘A’ level JC Chemistry.
There will be 4 papers in total which all candidates are required to sit for.
1. Paper 1 (15%) : One hour paper with 30 multiple choice questions
2. Paper 2 (30%): One hour paper with structured questions.
3. Paper 3 (35%): Two hours paper consisting of two sections with free response questions.

Economics is the art to meet unlimited needs with scarce resources.” – Laurence J. Peter
Our H2 JC Economics Programme equips students with an in-depth understanding of key economic concepts that are covered in the syllabus. During group sessions, students will discuss real-world events that had raised debate amongst economists, and learn to question economic theories, i.e. how applicable are those theories in real-life situations? Additionally, they will receive carefully-crafted notes which are fruits of labour from our tutors, after many years of teaching experience and taking into consideration the common struggles faced by students. Most of all, our teachers make lessons interactive and engaging for the students, encouraging them to speak up in class and clear their doubts proactively. At the end of the day, students will learn to explain and analyse economic issues using economic reasoning and come up with their own evaluations.
In our JC Economics class, students will delve into exciting discussions and debates regarding the economic theories in their syllabus. Instead of merely understanding the topics taught in school, our students will be trained to pose questions and form a detailed analysis of real-world events. They will be able to use economic reasoning to derive their own evaluations. Our JC Economics program introduces students to different question types that are similar to the structure of the ‘A’ level Economics examination. Apart from developing a keen mind, students will also have the opportunity to hone their academic writing, critical thinking, and vocal skills in a safe classroom scenario.
